“Being judged by panels comprised of the most experienced wine industry people in the world and winning such awards against such incredibly well known wineries from Napa and Sonoma, France, Italy, and New Zealand, is extremely rewarding,” said winery co-founder Brad Galer.  “After the years of planting the vineyards and building the winery, such recognition is truly a dream come true.”

Made all the better by winning using local grapes grown in the soils of Chester County.

“We have worked hard to bring quality wine growing and wine making to Chester County,” his wife and winery co-founder Lele Galer said. “We owe our success to our Galer Estate family, including Jan Grimes our vineyard manager and Catrina North, our winemaker, as well as our consultants John Levenberg and Lucie Morton and everyone who has worked so hard in the vineyard and in the sales area. We are so lucky to have such a wonderful team of people working with us.

“Everyone in the local wine community has also been so helpful and welcoming – this has been an extraordinarily positive and rewarding experience for us, and we are completely thrilled to be winning awards for doing something that we love – how great is that?! This really is a great area to be making wine. Cheers to our amazing team and cheers to Chester County!”
