Downingtown small businesses offer deals on Nov. 29

A number of small businesses in Downingtown are offering special discounts as part of Small Business Saturday. Healping to spread the word are from left Adrian Martinez, President of the Downingtown Main Street Association, and George Lutz, owner of Downingtown Country Gifts.

DOWNINGTOWN — Sales and specials are being offered by Downingtown shop owners during Small Business Saturday on November 29.

“Downingtown has a great group of business owners,” said Adrian Martinez, president of the Downingtown Main Street Association. “Saturday will be a great time to look for those special holiday gifts in our borough stores and then enjoy a meal at one of our many fine restaurants.”

DMSA is supporting Small Business Saturday, founded by American Express in 2010. The event encourages people to shop at small businesses in their communities on the Saturday after Thanksgiving.

The Downingtown businesses taking part in Small Business Saturday include:

• 30 East Salon – 10% off Redken style products and $10 off a $100 gift card.
• Studio 3 Custom Framing – 15% off custom framing.
• Bud & Bloom Florist – Free flower to every customer and 10% off all items purchased
• Sherwin-Williams Paints – 30% off all paint, plus coupons for future projects.
• Mane Street Salon – Custom gift baskets w/$5 coupon for sale.  20% off all products.
• Bailey Family Chiropractic Center – $20 off massages and complimentary chiropractic consultations.
• Creekside Antiques – 10% off entire store, plus other sale items.
• Downingtown Running Company – $10 off shoes and 25% off apparel.
• Signature Style Salon – $20 wash/cut/style, $10 men’s wash/cut, free wash/cut/style with any chemical service (new clients).
• Downingtown Country Gifts – Free gift with a purchase of $20 or more.  Door prize drawling for a $75 gift certificate.  Light refreshments served.
• Kimberton Whole Foods – Free cup of coffee with any purchase at Downingtown location.
