Conestoga, Unionville named among top US high schools

TopHSTwo Chester County high schools have been ranked among the nation’s top 13 public high schools out of some 21,000 schools in the United States: Conestoga and Unionville by BestColleges.com.

The schools were ranked of the basis of best academics, safety, best teachers and best facilities.

Conestoga ranked number two overall — trailing only Horace Greeley of Chappaqua, NY — earning a 41st in the nation rating for its academics (number one in Pennsylvania), 59th best in facilities (11th in the state), 19th in teaching faculty (third in the state) and the 54th safest high school in America (fourth safest in Pennsylvania).

Unionville ranked 13th, scoring 123rd in academics (number eight in Pennsylvania), 13th nationally in facilities (no. 2 in Pennsylvania), 82nd in teaching faculty (12th best in the state) and was ranked the sixth safest high school in America (safest in Pennsylvania).
