No injuries in Valley garage fire

VALLEY — A late-night garage fire consumed a pair of cars and had firefighters from six local fire companies working to contain the blaze, early Sunday.

Emergency responders were called to a garage fire a little after midnight early Sunday at 143 Mineral Springs Road in the township.

The fire was quickly brought under control — in about one hour — and no injuries were reported.

In the aftermath of the fire, it was clear at least two cars were destroyed — along with the structure. No injuries were reported.

It appeared that substantial damage was done to the garage and the belongings inside of it, with least two cars destroyed by the blaze.

Firefighters from from Westwood, Wagontown, Sadsburyville, Glenmoore, East Brandywine and Cochranville fire companies responded to the scene.
